ISPOR Dubai 2018 held on September 19-20, has been a successful event with over 400 participants from 41 countries, representing governmental health officials and healthcare providers, pharmacists, pharmaceutical and medical device industry, procurement and reimbursement organizations, academics, student, professional organizations. The meeting was a direct response to the need for capacity building in HEOR in the Middle East and North Africa, having offered various education, training, and networking opportunities. Many participants expressed a heartfelt welcome to ISPOR’s presence in the region and commended connecting ISPOR members with global experts in the field. The program consisted of scientific presentations, educational symposia, panel discussion as well as roundtables and meetings of ISPOR Chapters from the region and the Arabic Network.
