Medical Doctor graduated from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, with a master’s degree in Health Management, Planning, and Policy (University of Leeds) and Post Graduate studies in Health Economics (Pompeu Fabra University). 25 years of experience in health systems and services, 10 of them working internationally in more than 10 countries in Latin America and The Caribbean
Extensive experience working for DFID, UNFPA, and PAHO/WHO as Health Policy and Health Systems Advisor. Currently working as CEO of Gobierna Consultores.
He is also Professor of the MBA in Health Management at CENTRUM Católica, Visiting Professor at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. He is co-author of the books "Historia, Salud y Globalización” and "Salud hoy: problemas y soluciones".
